When is a good time to get funding for your company?

Despite what some may say, NOW is the perfect time to get funding. Capital goes where it's welcomed, and stays where it's wanted. When you are looking for investors, money will tend to flow (people will put their money) in places where they feel like they're welcome. They will keep their money invested in places where the money is treated well.

Ask yourself “Why is someone else's capitol going to want to be with me?”

Why are you doing your business? Do you believe in yourself? If you don't really believe in yourself, investors sniff that out. You can have a brilliant idea but maybe not the confidence in how to execute. Or you could have tremendous confidence and knowledge of how to execute, but don't 100% believe in the idea. Make sure you believe and have confidence.

How does someone know if their idea is worthy of an investor’s time?

Reach out to a professional! Contact someone like Mike. Another idea is to start going to your local Toastmasters Club and try it out! There are plently of clubs out there to practice your pitch and get feedback and make adjustments.
