In our conversation, we focused on the importance of living your authentic life. I am excited to share Diane’s top 3 tips on how to do so with you below.
ESTABLISHING BOUNDARIES
When we are young, we are taught to do what we are told by our teachers, our parents and all of the adults around us. As we transition to adulthood we don’t always have the tools to know what our limitations are. That is why it is so important for us to take the time and learn where our edges are and from there we have to show others. It can be a romantic partner, your children, friendships or a boss or coworkers. These relationships all need boundaries set by you in order for you to live your truth and experience your best life.
FOCUSING ON NUTRITION
Nutrition plays such a huge role in our lives and is oftentimes an overlooked area. You don’t have to do a complete overhaul of everything all at once. A good place to begin is to try different foods that don’t cause a negative reaction in your body or disrupt your health. Lean towards foods that make you feel light, that make you feel good. You will find that the more nutritious your food intake is, the more energy you will have. You may even see issues you were struggling with disappear! Another tip if you are looking to start is to just add more vegetables to your plate otherwise known as “crowding it out.” You will start filling up on more nutritious items.
SHIFTING YOUR MINDSET
If you really want to take charge of your health and live your most authentic life, then it is imperative to shift your mindset. This will really encourage you to do the research and keep the motivation to make better, healthier choices for yourself. It will open you up to so many possibilities.
