Amino Acids with Shelly Jo Wahlstrom Part 2 - GABA Chill

I recently interviewed the wonderful Shelly Jo Wahlstrom for Part 2 of our series on Amino Acids.

Shelly Jo is a Hypnotherapist & Coach that struggled for years with sugar addiction, hoarding, and yo-yo dieting. She fought for her daughter's life against addiction and discovered how to help her daughter survive and thrive in a sober life. Now, she is passionate about helping others find the joy she and her family experience!

We discuss one of my favorite new products called GABA Chill. Let’s dive in!

What is GABA Chill?

GABA Chill is exactly what it sounds like: a “chill pill” if you will! When your GABA is working, you can physically calm down on your own, naturally. I love GABA Chill because doesn’t take long to work. If your body and brain need it, you may feel a difference between 5 and 7 minutes!

When might we need GABA Chill?

We’ve all been there! The old fight or flight feeling. When you’re always on alert, you can find you get exhausted and snippy. You may be feeling the panic set in, or that anxious knot in your stomach. If you have a speaking engagement, or a big presentation at work or maybe even need to calm your nerves before a flight! Basically any time you feel you need a little assistance to relax.

What is GABA?

GABA (Gamma-aminobutyric acid) is an amino acid in your brain that functions as the primary inhibitory neurotransmitter for the central nervous system (CNS). GABA can become depleted when our adrenal glands are stressed (think that fight or flight) or when we are exposed to toxins or even because of our diet.

How will we feel after we take GABA Chill?

You will feel more calm and like you can breathe a little easier. The positive of this is that you will not have the sleepy side effect that sometimes comes with prescription solutions to anxiety. You also will not need to worry about addiction or dependence. Bonus: you can also give these to children!

Shelly Jo became a Hypnotherapist & Coach after years of struggling with sugar addiction, hoarding, and yo-yo dieting. She found relief through these tools. As a mother, she went to the depths of Hell and back fighting for her daughter's life against addiction. She discovered how to help her daughter survive and thrive in a sober life. Now, she is passionate about helping others find the joy she and her family experience.
